3D Animation Software: 3D Magix Sucks! It’s a Scam!

by Jake Mogul on December 10th, 2008

Before you buy the 3D animation software, 3DMagix, from 3dMagix.com, there are just a few things you NEED to know. The price of this software – at only $27 – seems too good to be true, and it is. The software they are allegedly selling for $27 is NOT original software. It is simply the open source software Blender, that they have rebranded and are selling for money.

Because Blender is open source software, you can download it from blender.org for free – quite legally. So don’t spend money on 3D animation software like 3d Magix, instead head over to blender.org and check out that software instead – after all, they are one and the same.

Further more, the 3d animation software 3D Magix, makes no further attempt beyond their one page sales letter to rebrand the software at all. All of the training videos they put on the home made CD-ROM you’ll recieve are freely available on Blender websites and refer to the software as Blender rather than as 3D Magix.

Also, all the packaging shown on the website is misleading. You’ll recieve nothing more than a CD-ROM in a paper envelope.

On their website, they also offer a 60 Day full money back guarantee, but this is just talk. When you submit a ticket on their help desk, they never reply or answer it and any attempt to get a refund is completely in vain.

So if you want 3D animation software, 3D Magix is not what you want.

If you have been stung by the 3D Magix scam, or would like to help get the word out about this, there are a number of web pages trying to achieve this.

This particular page is aiming at becoming #1 on Google for the term 3D animation software, so if you own a blog or a website, why not link to this page using those words?
